RACC x @hotel_lenegresco ... Training continues !!! A big THANK YOU to Le Negresco for hosting the traditional RACC team training day in exceptional conditions. After a magnificent "family photo" on the steps of the hotel, more than 40 RACC staff got down to work.

On the menu for this fantastic day were a reminder of all our 'rally' procedures, a presentation of the 2024 'new features' (which we'll be detailing here throughout April 😊), a delicious lunch concocted by the Negresco kitchens, a presentation of our incredible 2024 programme (with almost 4,000 pax already confirmed!!!) and, of course, an aperitif 'full of bubbles' to round off this magnificent day's work.

There's (really) no more season!!! After kicking off the year with a series of incredible back-to-back groups in January, RACC is continuing its momentum and doubling the stakes in February with new groups, photo shoots and film shoots, and even individual clients who are enjoying a little 'off-season' pleasure... It's unheard of!!!!

In addition to this unprecedented winter activity, the RACC team has embarked on a fantastic programme of overhauling and detailing the 'collection'. We're almost 2 months ahead of 2023, so we're taking the opportunity to 'pamper our babies': the seats and interiors are systematically dismantled, the engine compartments are high-pressure washed, all the bodywork is machine polished, and the team hunts for spare parts all over the world!

In 15 years the fleet has never been so beautiful, and it has been enriched again this winter, and we will be heading into 2024 with 3 Cobras, 3 Jaguar XK 120s, 5 Ferraris, 2 Lamborghinis, 9 Porsches, 3 Jaguar E-Types, 2 Rolls Royces, 2 Aston Martins, 2 Maseratis, 3 Corvettes and, as always, one-offs: DS Cabriolet Chapron, Berlinette Alpine Cabriolet, Mercedes SL 60 AMG, Audi RS2, Jensen Interceptor, Daimler Dart SP 250, Mercedes 190 SL, BMW Z1, Renault Spider, TVR Chimaera, etc. The emphasis is on the very top of the range and VIP customers, as well as on ease of driving and handling.

February is also an opportunity to get the team together for some festive events, and what a pleasure it is to meet up at our "garage museum" for a buffet prepared by @dimension.sud!

Finally, a short seminar in London provided the opportunity to put the finishing touches to a number of technological, organisational and methodological 'innovations' designed to make our 'rallies' run even more smoothly, and to provide an (even more!) extraordinary experience for our customers. An initial announcement will be made towards the end of the month, with roll-out scheduled for March.

Automatic classics!!! After "inventing" classic car hire 15 years ago, RACC is continuing to innovate and from the start of the 2024 season will be offering a selection of 20 classic cars with automatic gearboxes, which can accommodate groups of up to 60 people.

Of course, with more than 50 manual cars, RACC will continue to put together 'fleets' for fans of 'old-school' driving sensations, but it was essential to take into account the emergence of a new generation of customers and new nationalities.

With 5,000 guests in our 2023 groups, and more than 500 individual rental days, we know that demand for automatic 'classics' is strong. It is even systematic for US, Asian and Middle Eastern groups, which was not the case just 5 years ago...

Fortunately, car production in the 60s and 70s offered some fantastic possibilities: Jaguar E-Type V12, Aston Martin Volante, DS Cabriolet Chapron, Rolls Royce Corniche and Jensen Interceptor - there are plenty of legendary cars with automatic gearboxes, giving novices the chance to enjoy an extraordinary experience, without any pressure.

This development is also an opportunity to go back to the 80s and 90s, as 'youngtimers' are a huge trend in the classic car world. These newer cars are obviously more comfortable and easier to handle, and we'll also be offering a fantastic selection of them (Mercedes SL 60 AMG, Mercedes 500 SL, Figaro, Audi RS2, Dodge Viper, Tesla Roadster, DeLorean, etc.).

With 4 huge projects that the "RACC team" negotiated perfectly: a 2023 season "that never ends"; pre/post ILTM promotional actions galore; the preparation of our "2024 fleet", which will include more than 50 cars in Nice; and already the preparation of several series of 2024 events in Corsica and Tuscany, in addition to our (formidable 😊) business on the Côte d'Azur!!!

Among the (very 😊) many pre and post ILTM actions, we must highlight a highly prestigious operation alongside the @montecarlosbm, this "mini rally" saw us welcome two of the biggest names in the global tourism industry: @matthewdupchurch, CEO of Virtuoso !!! And @journeyswithjwb, vice-president of JP Morgan Chase !!!

As well as these promotional actions, business didn't really slow down in November with groups for @Adecco, @metropolisdmcfrance , @lafayettegroupdmc, @dreamcatcherdmc, @esterel_aventures, etc. The photos speak for themselves, and between the enthusiasm of the team, the quality of the 'fleet' and the fine weather, the successes just kept on coming 😊

Despite this high level of activity, the team is already hard at work on the 2024 fleet, with one overhaul following another and, above all, acquisitions in the pipeline 😊 RACC will be breaking new ground again in 2024, by taking its fleet in a direction that almost all our customers expect. After a thundering start to October on the Côte d'Azur (500+ pax in 15 days and 12 groups!!!) RACC was back in Tuscany in mid-October for a prestigious programme: 4 days including 2 days of rallying in the heart of Chianti for guests of the Santander bank's insurance subsidiary.

On the menu for this automotive and gourmet adventure: Florence, Siena, Tavernelle, San Gimignano, Greve In Chianti, Badia a Coltibuono, the fantastic Abbey of Passigano, espressos with passionate Italians, truffles (lots of them!) and the fantastic roads of the Mille Miglia. The pictures speak for themselves, the customers had a fantastic experience... And we'll see them again next year!

After 15 days of back-to-back activities in Tuscany, the team followed up with a real "Everest" on the Côte d'Azur: 3 groups at full capacity (70+ pax each day), 3 days in a row, for 3 different clients; with a group departing from Cannes, then the next day a group departing from Nice, and finally the day after that a group departing from Monaco!

The technical, logistical and human challenges were immense, but the RACC team rose to the challenge, and the result was extraordinary: no incidents, no accidents, no breakdowns, schedules met to the minute, happy end clients and agencies, and participants queuing up to thank us... What a pleasure and what a reward!
