The "Big Healey are mythical and unclassifiable. Today it's the epitome of British chic, with white Smiths counters, two-tone paintwork and wire wheels... But in the 50s and 60s it was the 'big boys' car that Caroll Shelby raced!
Before they became the 'so chic' cars they are today, Austin Healey roadsters were in the hands of the greatest drivers (Caroll Shelby, Stirling Moss, Timo Makinen), whether on the racetrack (Sebring, Le Mans, Daytona, Laguna Seca), in rallies (Monte-Carlo, RAC, Acropole) or during city-to-city 'marathons' (Lièges-Rome-Liège, Coupe des Alpes). The track record of the 'Big' Healey is in fact a 'Prevert inventory' of motor sport in the 50s and 60s, with Donald Healey's roadsters making history.
And as soon as you get behind the big Moto-Lita wooden steering wheel, it's easy to see why! The 6-cylinder purrs like a big cat and immediately delivers generous torque. The Healey is neither 'sharp' nor 'tricky', and is at ease on all terrains and in all hands.
You don't need to be a great driver to climb the Turini on the throttle, or to take to the motorway to ensure a good average speed, the 3000 always obeys your every command!
Getting started
First and foremost, our Austin Healey 3000 is a real four-seater! That's rare for a roadster, but the two rear seats can accommodate two adults for short journeys or even for long-distance trips with two children. On the other hand, Healey cars are REAL roadsters, with no side windows and only a tonneau cover... Luckily, it never rains on the Côte d'Azur!
The brakes are very good, with twin front discs, the car starts impeccably in both winter and summer, the chassis is very sound and neutral, and only the slightly heavy steering belies its reputation as a 'man's car' (even though the 'Big' Healey has won the 'Ladies' Cup' in hundreds of events!)

Rental conditions
Our fleet is just as valuable as the quality of the experience you are about to have. This is why it is important that you read our rental conditions.
Mileage
All our rentals include a package of 125 kilometers per day. Beyond that, we offer a single rate of €2.50 per kilometer.
Rental day
The rental day lasts a full 24 hours, it begins when the car leaves, after presentation/handling.
Required age
25 years for the DS Cabriolet, the Jaguar Type E, the Mercedes 190 SL, the Ferrari, the Aston Martin and the Rolls Royce, 21 years for the others.
Documentation
A license of more than one year and a second identity document will be required to access our cars.
Insurance
Insurance, which represents 30% of the rental amount, is included in the price. An excess remains the responsibility of the tenant in the event of theft or damage for which he is responsible. In this case the excess is never debited in full, only the value of the repairs is due after agreement on a repair estimate.
Deposit
The security deposit is the excess amount and this is only a request for authorization on your credit card, or credit cards if necessary (Visa or Mastercard), no money is debited from your account. You leave with peace of mind and so do we!
Car park
As long as you book for a minimum rental period of 3 days, free parking is available on request to leave your “everyday” car during the rental. Contact our team to find out more!
Booking & Cancelation
For individual customers, in the event of cancellation less than one week before the scheduled departure date, the full rental amount will be due. For groups, a 50% deposit is required upon confirmation of the “rally”. Then, in the event of partial cancellation or total cancellation of the event, the cancellation fees are 50% up to two months before the "rally", 75% up to 15 days before the "rally », and 100% in the event of cancellation less than 15 days before the “rally”. If the event is postponed, the postponement fee is 10%. In the case of a group postponed and then canceled, the cancellation fees are always at least 50%, regardless of the date and deadline for the new cancellation (then 75% and 100%, in the case of a new cancellation less than a month or less than 15 days before the “rally”). In all cases (cancellation or postponement of the event, cancellation or postponement of the rally, partial cancellation, no-show, etc.) all deposits received remain the property of Rent A Classic Car / RCT.
